Why Listen?

In the world of communication skills, listening gets short shrift and we believe that this "crisis of listening" can have negative organizational consequences. Clients have initiated organizational listening when they want to better understand how change is impacting the organization, or how to approach a new business phase, or when they are curious about morale or the organizational climate. Their objective is always to get quick, candid, unfiltered feedback in a fluid and non-threatening way.


Approach

Organizational Listening requires a close partnership with the CEO and Human Resources to define the objectives, create internal communications, and prepare for the volume of upward feedback that will result. We will assist you with designing a listening questionnaire, identifying the appropriate level of employee participation, and creating action plans for follow-up at the senior team level. You may also choose to use a research based assessment to gather specific data about the organization's culture.
